Excerpt:  “Across the country, five new large fires were reported, with 31 still uncontained and 66 being managed under a strategy other than full suppression. More than 7,300 wildland firefighters and support personnel are assigned to incidents nationwide, including one incident management team and 62 overhead personnel assisting with large fire support in Canada. This international collaboration is a reminder that fire knows no borders, and neither does our commitment to help where it’s needed most.”
