Excerpt: “The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) announces the fiscal year 2022 U.S. arms transfer figures, as well as other notable accomplishments and statistics, highlighting the depth and breadth of U.S. security cooperation efforts. Arms transfers for fiscal year 2022 totaled $51.92 billion, resulting in a three-year rolling average of $45.84 billion. This value was comprised of: 1) $43.07 billion in arms sales under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program funded by U.S. allies and partners nations; 2) $6.65 billion under the Title 22 Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program; and 3) $2.21 billion under Title 10 Foreign Assistance Act or Building Partner Capacity (BPC) programs.”
