The FBI’s Little Rock Field Office is assisting the US Marshals Service, the Arkansas Department of Corrections, and the Arkansas State Police with the search for and apprehension of Grant Matthew Hardin. On May 25, 2025, Hardin escaped from the North Central Unit, also known as Calico Rock Prison, which is a medium security prison run by the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Hardin was serving a prison sentence due to convictions for homicide and rape.”
