Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Takes Action to Address Risks to Public Health by Updating the Superfund National Priorities List

The Agency announced that it is adding four sites and proposing to add another 13 sites to the Superfund National Priorities List (NPL) where releases of contamination pose significant human health and environmental risks. The sites to be added are located in New Jersey, Texas, Kansas, and Montana. The proposed sites are in Massachusetts, New York, Puerto Rico, Maryland, West Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Oregon.
